Expert with one or more of the following:
* Path planning/path following, Mobile robot localization, Simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM), Mobile robot kinematics/dynamics, 2D and 3D Sensors, Object detection and tracking.
*Experience using Robot Operating System ( ROS, ROS 2 ).
* Experience developing industrial robotics, AGVs / AMRs, perception, computer vision, Open CV.
* 5+ Years of Experience in design and development of robotic systems or autonomous systems.
* Significant experience of programming in Python
*5+ Years of Experience in electro-Mechanical design, system integration and mechanism design.
*Experience with computer vision, Machine learning and Deep learning. Possess superior problem solving skills and independent decision making,
* Unknown Environment Exploration (UEE) with UGVs and leverages Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) to efficiently explore unknown areas by finding navigable routes. The approach utilizes a diverse sensor payload that includes wheel encoders,3D LIDAR, Cameras, and leverages the Robot Operating System (ROS). The goal of this R&D is to leverage frontier-based exploration with UGVs to produce a 3-D map.
