Skills:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering /Technology / MCA
- 5+ Years of experience in Business Analysis, 3 years in Product Management
- Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Experience in gather and document robust business/software requirements with business requirements (BRDs), functional requirements (FRDs), data flow diagrams (DFDs) , high-level functional designs, use cases, wireframes and workflow diagrams
- Experience in managing, guiding business analysis or product team.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Passion for conceiving, creating and designing useful, innovative products
- Experience in identifying various business problems or product flaws and come up with creative solutions
- Proven business analysis experience in Product Development Organization
- Business Information Industry experience would be an added advantage
- Self-starter, detail oriented with strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Exhibits exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Strong and competent in group facilitation
- Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management frameworks
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Create developer-ready product specifications that may include user stories, UI mock-ups/wireframes and workflow diagrams
- Coordinate and manage meetings/analysis sessions with business unit subject matter expert(s) in order to solicit and cross-reference business and functional requirements ensuring expectations are clearly understood and satisfied
- Gather and document robust business/software requirements with business requirements (BRDs), functional requirements (FRDs), data flow diagrams (DFDs) , high-level functional designs, use cases
- Ensure application and database changes fit with the proposed future business architecture and processes
- Collaborate with the Development, QA, UAT and operations team to ensure on-time delivery of release tracking operation/business metrics and sharing it with stakeholders on a periodic basis
- Coordinating with business units to create and implement a decisive project plan and strategy from product development to launch.
- Act as the key authority and point of contact for product development concepts, business strategy and business models
- Perform various project management duties - managing work plans and facilitating an efficient product development effort between individual co-workers and business units
- Partner with the marketing, engineer and design teams to bring the product vision to life with prototypes and mocks.
- Ensure that various stages of product development are completed on time by leading, organizing and requesting constant updates from cross-functional teams.
- Collect, analyze and report on data and make adjustments to development plans as needed to facilitate a successful new product rollout.
